About the printer
Does it use ink?
No — and it never will. Printkin is a thermal printer: heat makes the print, so there are no cartridges, ribbons, or toner. The only thing you'll ever buy again is paper ($14.99 for 10 rolls).
Does it work with my phone?
Yes. The free app works on iPhone and Android and connects over Bluetooth. No Wi-Fi, no cables, no computer needed. Pairing takes about a minute.
Does it print in color?
No — the print itself is always black. That crisp monochrome look is the whole aesthetic for labels, notes, and line-art stickers. If you want color, use colored or pastel paper rolls: colored paper, black print. (We'll never tell you it prints color photos. It doesn't.)
How sharp are the prints?
Printkin prints at 200 DPI — that's crisp, clean output for text, labels, lists, line art, and small black-and-white photos. It's made for stickers and study notes, not gallery prints, and we'd rather tell you that here than have you find out later.
How does it charge, and how long does the battery last?
It charges with the included USB cable, like your phone. Inside is a 1000mAh rechargeable battery — a full charge covers a normal study week of printing for most people. Top it up when you top up your phone.
What can I print on?
Sticker paper (peel-and-stick), plain thermal paper for notes and lists, and colored rolls. A starter sticker roll is included in the box, and the 10-roll refill pack is $14.99.
Ordering & shipping
How long does shipping take?
5-8 business days within the US, plus 1-2 business days of processing. You'll get a tracking number the moment it ships. (Tracking can take 24-48 hours to show its first scan.)
Where's my tracking number?
It's emailed to you as soon as your order ships — check spam/promotions if you don't see it. Still missing? Email support@printkin.store with your order number.
Can I cancel or change my order?
If it hasn't shipped yet, yes — email us ASAP with your order number. Once it ships we can't pull it back, but the 30-day guarantee has you covered either way.
Returns & trust
What if I don't love it?
You have 30 days from delivery. Email support@printkin.store, send it back, and we refund the purchase price in full. Open-box and used returns are fine — that's what a trial is for.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Checkout runs on Shopify's PCI-compliant payment system — the same infrastructure used by millions of stores. We never see or store your card number, and your payment details are encrypted end to end.
How do I reach a human?
Email support@printkin.store. A real person replies within 24-48 hours (usually faster on weekdays).
